You will answer

 “You will answer”

As you see the recent events unfold you may feel helpless to make any positive impact.  It may seem like so much of what is going on is beyond your control.  This may make you angry or frustrated.

Over the last few days in my reading, I have had a quote come up several times and I wanted to pass it on to you.

A.W. Tozer said this:

“While it looks like things are out of control, behind the scenes there is a God who has not surrendered his authority.”

This weekend I spent some time focusing on Psalm 38 to prepare my heart and life for worship on Sunday.  I came across this verse that helps me as I pray for things that are too big for me to even get my mind around.

“I hope in You, O LORD; you will answer, O LORD my God” (Psalm 38:15, NASB).

As you pray for the prayer needs on your heart, the community and the world around you,  world I urge you to take a few moments and meditate on the character of our God who is sovereign and who is our hope and how will answer when his people cry out in prayer.
