 Shine like Stars

In Philippians 2:14-15 the Bible says, "Do everything without grumbling and arguing, so that you may be blameless and pure, children of God who are faultless in a crooked and perverted generation, among whom you shine like stars in the world" (CSB).

What great verses to focus on this week.  What a difference it could make if we faced each day with these verses on our hearts as we go about our daily activity.  Everywhere I turn in our culture I hear grumbling and arguing. You can hear it if you look on social media or listen to conversations you hear in public.

We as followers of Christ can be a breath of fresh air if we would simply take these verses to heart as we speak to others and go about our daily activities.

The Bible calls us to be blameless and pure.  To live a life that is different from the world.  It will stand in such a sharp contrast with our times that we will appear like stars in a night sky.  

Or as Jesus put it in Matthew 5:16, "In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven" (ESV).

Let's shine like stars this week!
