“Making the most of today”

 “Making the most of today”

Currently I think we all feel a level of frustration. Sometimes the frustration is greater, sometimes lesser, but we all feel itWe seem to be in a situation collectively that we have little or no control over.

So, how can we do more than just survive in a time like this? Is it possible to thrive? Is there something that God is wanting to accomplish in our lives individually and our lives corporately as a church? Certainly, we all believe God is absent during all thisWe believe he is still in control. We believe that he wants what is best for us and has a plan and purpose for our lives.

What if today we took one thing of significance and accomplished that? What if asked the Lord to show us what one thing he wants us to accomplish today, and we did itWhat a difference that could make in our lives.

What if today, we focused on making the most of this dayThen, if the Lord allows us to live tomorrow, we do the exact same thing.

The Bible says it this way, “Look carefully then how you walk, not as the unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil” (Ephesians 5:15-16, ESV).

Make the most of today!
