Hold on to the truth
We live in challenging times. Our sense of normalcy has been turned upside down in the last year and a half. I have found that my need for Bible intake has increased as I try to navigate through our new normal. I have found I am prone to drift in my faith during these days if I am not diligent in my study of the Bible.
The author of Hebrews says it this way, “We must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away from it” (Hebrews 2:1, NASB).
Today is not the time to drift in our walk with Christ and the study of the scripture. Today is not the time to neglect worship and fellowship. Sure, we might have to do things much different, but we desperately need to be together as God’s people. It may be worshiping online or with our family, but the need is as great as ever.
So, I urge you to hold tightly to the truth. As the writer of Hebrews says, “pay much closer attention to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away from it.”
