Dwell on these things
There was an old saying about computers years ago, “Garbage in, Garbage out!” The meaning is obvious, what you put in is what you get out. The very same thing is true about our minds. What we spend our time and energy thinking about is what we will produce.
So, this week I am trying to focus on a great verse from Philippians as I train my mind to think about the right and best things.
“Finally brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable – if there is any moral excellence and if there is anything praiseworthy – dwell on these things” (Philippians 4:8, CSB).
What are you dwelling on today? I urge you to dwell on these things.
