Such an unusual morning

“Such an unusual morning” 

 

Such an unusual morning, not many in my life to compare 

No sounds of music or worship, only silence fills the air 

But in these quiet moments this day, I am reminded anew, 

That your presence, power, and strength in worship are very much in view. 

 

 

This is my first attempt at writing poetry since I was a freshman in high school.  It is my devotional attempt to depict my heart feelings of our church not having worship due to a COVID-19 upsurge.
