 My evaluation of ministry at 59 

 

I remember after serving with the association in Columbia for 6 months coming home and telling Stephanie that  I had learned two things: “One, I am not as bad of a pastor as I thought, and two, the churches I served were a whole better than I thought.” 

Now having served back in the local church from the association for several years I have come to realize at 59 years old; One, I am not as good of a pastor as I thought, and two, the churches I have served have been so much better to me than I could have ever thought.” 

I am so grateful for God’s grace, patience, and care in my life and ministry. I am so thankful for churches and people who have loved me and demonstrated God’s grace towards me as we have served together.
